Elwood Quincy Walker is an award winning director, horror filmmaker, & videographer living in Los Angeles.

 

As a child he grew in up in California loving Blockbuster Video, Universal Studios, Halloween, & all things scary, which led to his passion for horror filmmaking. At the early age of 13 Elwood became a signed commercial director working professionally making short films and commercials for brands like Disney, TEDx, & more.

 

Since then he has made several successful short films that have screened & received accolades at film festivals around the world. In 2020 his short film Kissed premiered online on Gunpowder & Sky’s horror platform ALTER. Upon its release, the film received both critical acclaim & over 8 million views making it one of the most popular films on the channel.

 

Elwood’s last short film The Rule Of Three had its world premiere at Screamfest, the largest & longest running horror film festival in the U.S., where it won Best Student Film, making him the youngest person to ever win the award at the age of 20. In the fall of 2020 and throughout 2021, the film continued to win various awards at other top genre film festivals before its online release by both Short Of The Week and ALTER.
